To hell with Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year is whenever your favourite TV shows get full-season renewal orders.
The consistently brilliant Bob’s Burgers – the pun haven of my dreams – has decisively won over the famously crotchety executives at the Fox network in the US, and is being correctly rewarded by being picked up for a sixth season, meaning the magnificent legends behind the show get to keep churning out the good times.
The Belcher family gets a whole new season to play around with, and according to a press release from Fox Network heads Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Fox is just as pumped as anyone about it.
“We can’t help but love the Belcher family. This gem of a series is a rare feel-good blend of sharp wit and genuine heart that fans and critics alike have continued to love throughout its five seasons on Fox. We are proud of Loren and Jim and the extremely talented voice cast who bring these unique characters to life with both humour and charm each week. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for Season Six.“
Fans of the show, time to start dancing out those feelings.
And if for some bizarre reason you’re yet to gaze upon the glory that is Bob, Linda, Tina, Gene and Louise, then my god drop everything you’re doing right now and fix that. Seriously. The weekend’s probably going to be wet everywhere. There’s five glorious seasons for you to pass the time with. I almost envy that, being able to watch them for the first time again.
