Bob’s Burgers Officially Renewed For 2 More Seasons

Excellent news, folks: Fox has extended the life of critically-acclaimed animated series Bob’s Burgers, renewing the show for season 7 and 8, less than two weeks after its season 6 premiere.

Bob’s Burgers will celebrate its 100th episode this season, off the back of their Emmy win in 2014, and double-nomination in 2015

According to The Hollywood Reporter, BB’s 100th episode won’t attempt to be something it isn’t, as the show’s creators intend to stay true to their craft for a “quintessential” centenary celebration. “In a way your 100th episode should be almost like your pilot all over again. I think a good 100th episode shouldn’t be big and crazy. It should be the quintessential Bob’s Burgers episode,” Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard told THR.

Fox Braodcasting Co. President David Madden said the network was looking forward to what the Belchers would “cook up” in season 7 and 8: “Six seasons in, the Belchers have become one of America’s most beloved TV families, and we are so happy to keep them in the fold for another two seasons.”

Season 6 is set to feature a hugely promising round up of celebrity guests, including: Paul Rudd, Jemaine Clement, Bret McKenzie, Rhys Darby, Jordan Peele, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Eichner, Jenny Slate, Steve Buscemi, Henry Winkler, and Keegan-Michael Key.
