Loathe as we are to report on anything the pickled testicle head known as Alan Jones does or says, it’s important to note that he is still out there getting paid seven-figures to be a petulant crank on a daily basis, and that he does still hold significant sway over a vast section of the voter base. Plus even by his standards this is particularly crook, so on we go.

Jones has used his regular 2GB show this afternoon to launch an extraordinary and frankly violent rant against New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, in which he wondered out loud if Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison would “shove a sock down her throat.”
Ardern gave Australia a fairly deserved tongue-lashing as she arrived in Tuvalu for the Pacific Islands Forum; a major pacific nations conference that has already seen Australia weasel its way out of official documents referring to any “climate crisis” – our preferred term is apparently “climate change reality” which… fuck’s sake, you cowards – while reducing the number of mentions of coal down to one in total.
In response, Ardern stated that Australia “has to answer to the rest of the Pacific” on emissions inaction, before asserting she will “continue to say that New Zealand will do its bit. And we have an expectation that everyone else will as well. We have to. Every single little bit matters.”
Jones, an oversized stewed prune granted sentience in some sort of fucked up Pinnochio-like scenario, took umbrage with the suggestion that Australia has to answer to anyone, much less the female leader of our closest neighbour.
On 2GB, Jones called Ardern a “complete clown,” the “biggest joke,” and suggested Scott Morrison should be prepared to, perhaps physically, silence her.
“Here she is preaching on global warming and saying that we’ve got to do something about climate change.”
“The fact is New Zealand’s carbon dioxide has grown by 10.8 per cent per capita since 1990. Ours has grown by 1.8 per cent.”
(A note: While that’s technically true, on a per capita-level Australia’s emissions still outstrip New Zealand’s by more than double.)
“I just wonder whether Scott Morrison is going to be fully briefed to shove a sock down her throat.”
“She is a joke, this woman, an absolute and utter lightweight.”
“These people are an absolute joke and Jacinda Ardern is the biggest joke.”
Fucken charming stuff. It’s great that this withering banana skin gets paid millions of dollars per year to do this. It owns, actually.
