3 Women Found Dead In Gold Coast Apartment Amid Reports Of A “Suicide Pact”

Three women have reportedly been found dead in a luxury apartment complex on an artificial island in the Gold Coast‘s north.
The women are believed to be a 78-year-old mother and two women thought to be her daughters, aged 54 and 53.
The bodies were discovered by the husband of one of the younger women when he returned from the shops, to an Ephraim Island, Paradise Point apartment at about 3.25pm today.
Seven News report that Queensland Police have said it appears the women died from suffocation, in what may have been a “suicide pact“.
Paramedics stated that when they got to the apartment they “didn’t need to treat anyone“, while firies swept the scene for dangerous chemicals.
Police and emergency services remain at the scene.
