Continuing their grim fascination with death, Karen O and co. assume Specter-form in the new video for “It’s Blitz” slow burner “Skeleton”. Directed by Barney Clay, the smoky black and white clip is ethereal and meandering and somber but not in that creepy Fever Ray way. It’s more scary-cute like your little brother’s ill-fitting Halloween costume or a puppy with rabies. So fear not, because if Karen O’s floating head started crooning to you in a cemetery you’d actually be amazed not terrified.
