Watch Courtney Barnett Absolutely Slay The Tonight Show Stage Once Again

A little over a year ago local legend Courtney Barnett had a pair of critically adored EPs to her name, and was making a sincere go of cracking mainstream US media for the first time.

The second she stepped onto the stage of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and tore through a dreamy version of “Avant Gardener” marked the start of a bullshit good twelve months for her and her backing band – The CB3 – which included a mass amount of festival dates and touring, the release of her absolute ripper of a debut LP “Sometimes I Just Sit & Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit,” as well as appearing on just about every American TV show under the sun.
With twelve more months of touring and performing under her belt, Courtney returned to the Tonight Show today, and (along with the band) hammered through a barnstorming rendition of the album’s lead cut “Pedestrian At Best.”

You might have to put your eyeballs a little closer to the screen to catch the video, but it’s well worth it. This is a ball tearer.

Barnett’s touring schedule has her roaring through the US, the UK, Europe and Japan for pretty much the rest of the year.
Kicking arse and taking names WORLD. BLOODY. WIDE.
