Greg Page, aka the Yellow Wiggle is set to make a comeback in what is definitely the feelgood story of 2012 so far.
Page exited the group in November 2006 when doctors diagnosed him with orthostatic intolerance, a rare disease which left him disoriented whenever he stood upright. His replacement, Sam Moran, has offered to step aside and let him rejoin The Band Formerly Known As The Cockroaches who are still sitting pretty near the top of the BRW Rich List for Entertainers. Last year they also became the subject of a bunch of sick covers by Aussie bands with Rewiggled.
“This takes me full circle. I’m excited to be back with my friends and to be entertaining our incredible fans again. I didn’t get a chance to say farewell last time, so this is an opportunity I couldn’t refuse. I’m feeling great and looking forward to doing what I love.”
