Your girl Rihanna is currently said to be dating 29-year-old Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel – the two have kept it pretty low-key, but it’s understood they’ve been together for almost a year, and back in June, the two were spotted fervidly pashing off together in a hotel pool in Spain.
Yesterday, Rihanna showed up to a Chris Rock show at Madison Square Garden, but it was a different kind of rock that caught everyone’s attention – the great big, massive, fuck-off huge diamond that she was casually sporting on her left hand.
The ring features a “champagne-colored center stone surrounded by white diamonds,” and if we had to guess, we’d say it cost somewhere between a whole lot and an absolute shitload. Rih raised her hand so everyone could get a look, and later posted paparazzi photos of herself on Instagram.
Of course, it quickly led to speculation that her man had popped the question:
Hassan Jameel was not present at the Chris Rock event, and he and the singer were last seen out together in Cambridge, Massachusetts in October, grabbing dinner with a group of friends and then going bowling on Halloween.
The couple have not yet commented on engagement rumours, but when you’re a massive global pop star-turned-cosmetics entrepreneur and a Saudi billionaire, you’re probably pretty happy just to leave people in suspense about the details of your day-to-day lives.
Earlier this week, Rihanna sent fans into a state of mild hysteria when she teased a new product in her Fenty Beauty line. Her Instagram story featured what appeared to be a thin lipstick, with the FB logo stamped on it, in a shade of navy blue or black.
Some have speculated that it may be something similar to her glitter-release eyeliner, from her Galaxy collection, but nothing further is known just yet.
