Radiohead To Drop New Album On Saturday All Hail “The King Of Limbs”

There still ain’t nobody in the music biz like Radiohead.

With characteristic understatement (see image below), Oxford’s critically-acclaimed quintet have announced via their website that their new album, King Of Limbs, will be available to the public from this Saturday. In yet another undoubtedly Thom Yorke inspired twist, the release will come in two forms; digital or ‘newspaper album.’

What the f- is a ‘newspaper album, we hear you ask? Well according to Radiohead’s new page, it involves:
* Two clear 10″ vinyl records in a purpose-built record sleeve.
* A compact disc.
* Many large sheets of artwork, 625 tiny pieces of artwork and a full-colour piece of oxo-degradeable plastic to hold it all together.
* A digital download that is compatible with all good digital media players which can be downloaded and listened to from Saturday, February 19.

AND one lucky purchaser of the digital version of The King Of Limbs, purchased from the website will receive a signed 2 track 12″ vinyl. Awesome. The newspaper album will set you back a cool $USD 48, and you can pre-order that baby right here, right now.

Holy flipping shitballs. This is way more exciting than the Grammys.
