Pink Has Now Sold 2 Million Tickets In Aus, The Most Of Any Artist Ever

Pink Record 2 Million Tickets Australian Concerts Shows

It’s no secret that many, many Aussies love the shit out of Pink. During her I’m Not Dead tour in 2007, she played 35 shows in Australia which was massive enough. But then she followed that up with the Funhouse tour in 2009, which ended up being extended to 58 dates. Fifty. Eight. The woman is a touring machine.

The 38-year-old is coming back to Aus in July/August for her Beautiful Trauma tour, marking her first big tour here since 2013’s The Truth About Love dates (which clocked up 46 shows, if you’re counting at home).

She’s playing just 35 shows on her latest visit, which to be honest is very lazy and we expected better from her (jokes, obviously). But this means that in her 16-year history of coming here, Pink – as of yesterday, according to promoter Live Nation – officially hit the two million ticket mark, making her Australia’s most popular touring artist of all time.

Whether you’re into her brand of radio-friendly pop or not, it’s an impressive achievement.

2 million tickets – nothing to sneeze at considering that there’s only, ooh, 24 million people down here?

If you want to make it 2 million and 1, head HERE to pick up tickets to Pink’s final Australian shows which will take place Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26. Live Nation confirms these are the last extra shows to be announced, so if you want to see her live, don’t miss yr chance.
