‘Mania Days!’ at Blender Gallery

The Beatles were a big deal before the Glee soundtracks started outselling them on the U.S. charts, and there’s no better way to experience the full madness of Beatlemania than through this heady collection of photographs. Blender tell us that in 1964, Beatles press officer Derek Taylor convinced their manager Brian Epstein that the band should have a professional photographer accompany them on their first US tour. That guy was Curt Gunther, and ‘Mania Days!’ are his exclusive photos. These have just resurfaced after nearly 50 years, so come and see what the fuss is/was all about. The opening night will also have a performance by The Falls, recalling the best of The Fab Four.
