The internet has done its thing again and somehow got its hands on a previously unreleased tune by Kanye West and Jay-Z. Translation: someone leaked it, someone absolutely leaked it.
The tune is called ‘Livin So Italian’ and, according to Highsnobiety, was first heard at a listening party for Kanye and Jay-Z’s 2011 album Watch the Throne. It was apparently never officially released because it features a lengthy, a very lengthy sample of Andrea Bocelli‘s ‘Time to Say Goodbye’, and the team weren’t able to get the A-okay.
HighSnobiety report the bloke that leaked it – a Redditor by the name of Ethere4l – says the full 3:06 version will be unleashed soon. For now, we have a half a track. Fellow Reddit users are also pointing out that Jay’s verse in the song ended up on his Magna Carta Holy Grail album, on ‘FuckWitMeYouKnowIGotIt.’

Oh, then three months later Kanye teased the album again. This time, it was in reply to a tweet fired off by Jay-Z. The rapper had been clarifying lyrics in Meek Mill‘s ‘What’s Free’, which he features on.
At the time, punters thought Jay-Z was dissing Kanye’s relationship with US President Donald Trump. But, Jay-Z said the “line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat).
Kanye West replied: “Throne 2”.
