Lana Del Rey Says Her New Album, ‘Honeymoon’, Is Coming In September

Lana De Rey‘s Ultraviolence, released last June, was one of the musical highlights of 2014, and she’s about to get her smoky sultriness all up in your business yet again, with a new album due out later this year.
The singer has been dropping hints about her new album for some time, but per a report in Stereogum, she told the audience at a recent show in Washington State that it would be arriving in September.
This album will be called Honeymoon, and a per a comment she made recently on a fan’s Instagram account, it has a “beautiful futureretro” sound, and there are two videos already shot.
Earlier this year, she spoke about the tone and style of the upcoming album to Billboard, saying:
It’s very different from the last one and similar to the first two, Born to Die and Paradise. I finished my last one [Ultraviolence] in March and released it in June and I had a follow-up idea. It’s growing into something I really like. I’m kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one. It’s been good.
We eagerly await either or both of those videos. In the meantime, here’s ‘Young And Beautiful’ again, because why the hell not:
