Kanye And Jay-Z Collab To Be Styled By Givenchy?

Kanye West has unveiled the cover for the first single of his collaborative EP with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne via Twitter. Titled “H.A.M.”, the single is scheduled for release on January 11, with the album slated for release on March 1.

Riccardo Tisci, the creative director at Givenchy, has designed the ornate artwork for the cover; which seems to depict rather savage looking rottweilers baring their teeth amidst grandiose kings’ crowns – which only has us asking more questions about what to expect from the rap duo’s highly anticipated album.

Aware that West has a keen eye for fashion – Givenchy – last month it was revealed Balmain designer Christophe Decarnin would style West for his forthcoming tour. The outfits will be chosen from the Fall/Winter 2010 collection and will be reinterpreted into menswear. The collection hints at 17th century fabrics and silhouettes; so you can expect to see seventies-style pantsuits, gilded jeans, cutaway coats, brocade and fur. Baller-glam.
