It has just been announced that protopunk gods Iggy And The Stooges will perform a handful of headline shows while in Australia for Blues Fest 2013. Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney will all be treated to the intense raw rock power of The Stooges’ original lineup, led by the inimitable Iggy Pop, all bare-chested strutting and bulging sinew that is truly an awe-inspiring sight to behold. An added bonus? The Stooges will be supported by Australia’s unstoppable blues rock powerhouse Beasts Of Bourbon.
