From an idea that began way back in 2007, HBO’s revealing documentary on Nirvana’s frontman, ‘Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck’ has finally released its first official trailer to the world.
Supported fully by Cobain’s family and executively produced by Courtney Love and Frances Bean Cobain, ‘Montage of Heck’ is being staged as worldwide release on HBO on May 4.
The documentary is helmed by Brett Morgen and premiered in January at Sundance to widespread critical acclaim. Featuring unheard songs, family archival footage, animation sequences, photos and exclusive interviews, ‘Montage of Heck’ looks like it will be the first Cobain documentary worth spending time on, as a harrowing and intimate portrait of one of music’s biggest legends.
