Four Previously Unheard Spice Girls Songs Leaked Online

Sometimes the universe bestows upon us things of irrefutable Good that we didn’t ask for, but truly did deserve: a classy, dark reboot of Matthew McConaughey‘s career; the understated brilliance of Ilana and Abi on Broad City every week, the mere concept of a piccolo latte, dungarees, Blue Ivy. Sometimes we do not ask but we do receive, and in those fleeting moments of pure ecstasy in which the universe has unearthed what we really want, we are, in a word, #blessed.

Today is one of those days: it’s February 12th, but this morning bares an uncanny atmosphere to December 25th: Yeezy and Sweezy are likely to collaborate, HAIM has killed us all with their flawless everything, and the motherfucking Spice Girls have released four previously unheard tracks into the ether, our ears, our hearts. VIVA FOREVER.

Make like Emma Stone and be unable to process this news.

Four songs from the ‘Forever’ era of the Spice Girls (sans Geri Halliwell, you’ll remember) have emerged online – the tracks are reportedly demos from their last album, “Forever”. They’re a mixed bag, granted; maybe none of these quite peak the standards of Wannabe, but I’ll take it, friends. I’ll bloody take it.

UPDATE: too much of something was enough – the previously supplied Soundcloud tracks have since been removed. Praise the internet gods, for the tracks have already been posted on youtube – listen below before they get taken down again.
