Ed Sheeran Bought Pizza For Fans Who Camped Outside His Gig For Two Days

Lining up overnight and beyond for concerts. It’s a commitment-and-a-half that you just don’t see in this day and age of allocated seating and online ticket sales. But there’s a group of Ed Sheeran fanatics in Adelaide who are extraordinarily keen to get into the stadium first, and ole’ Sheero himself has made sure they ain’t going hungry.

A group of ticket-holding Sheeraholics (it’s a thing) have been camping outside Adelaide Oval, ahead of tonight’s planned Ed Sheeran spectacular at the venue.

The group got there at some point yesterday and hunkered down to spend the night on the concourse outside the gates.

Sheeran, apparently, caught wind of what was going on, and decided to shout the lot of ’em dinner in the form of an arm-load of pizzas delivered to their hungry, hungry faces.

Gates for tonights show open at 4pm so their long wait is just about over at this point.

Big Red Ed himself is slated to hit the stage at precisely 8:45pm, after supports Missy Higgins and Fergus James warm the mighty stage up for him. Following tonight’s show the Big Mahn™ moves on to Melbourne for a string of shows at Etihad Stadium, before finishing up his Australian tour leg in Sydney and Brisbane.

A well-fed audience is a happy audience. Write that one down, mates.
