Sydney five-piece Dappled Cities join LCD Soundsystem, The Horrors, old German dudes and the Pedestrian offices in the international Krautrock appreciation club via a Neu! channeling take on set staple “Birds”- a blissful slice of psych infused Krautrock.
The track was recorded as part of a collection of Australian artists (Decoder Ring, Midnight Juggernauts and more) to celebrate the release of Brand Neu! – an international tribute album, out now, that includes tracks by School Of Seven Bells, Holy Fuck!, Oasis, LCD Soundsystem, Primal Scream and more. Before they go for a hedonistic road trip down the autobahn however, the boys are also set to release their forthcoming LP “Zounds” and tour nationally with support from Philadelphia Grand Jury and Yacht Club DJ’s.
