Buckle up, kids – arty electronic trio Alt-J just announced a huge Aussie tour for the end of year.
The boys Joe Newman, Thom Green and Gus Unger-Hamilton will be hitting up Australia and New Zealand in December this year, hot off the back of their third album RELAXER, and bringing along hypnotic LA band Warpaintofthe ride.
When PEDESTRIAN.TV caught up with Alt-J earlier this year, they marvelled about playing Laneway in 2012, shortly after three of their tracks made the Hottest 100 ( and with ‘Breezeblocks‘ coming in at #3) – and having no idea that it was any kind of a big deal. Bless. Basically, you can expect some of their old stuff to be thrown in the mix of album #3.
