If you still hold a candle and/or Zippo lighter for 90’s alternative rock, then you might wanna sit down for this one: glammy English alt-rock heroes Placebo are making their way down under for their 20th anniversary tour.
The 20 Years Of Placebo tour celebrates – you guessed it – 20 years since the band released their self-titled album.
“We’re happy to be coming back to Australia this September to deliver fans something extra special,” says Brian Molko. “Let’s just say there will be songs in the set that I’ve sworn never to play again.”
Reviews of the tour have been strong, with confirmation that the band drops a few deep cuts that haven’t been played in over a decade. The last time Placebo was here was in 2014 for Soundwave and its sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.
