BTS Are Back From Their Month-Long Hiatus, Which Is Shorter Than All My Mates’ Euro Trips

BTS

THEY’RE BACK, THEY’RE BACK, the boys of BTS are officially back from their – what really turned out to be a – “brief” hiatus.

Just over a month ago BTS’s management company, BigHit Entertainment, announced the band’s hiatus. Again, I know they said “brief”, but I did not think it would be this “brief”. You know maybe three months tops… or longer. In my defence my experience with “hiatus” is One Direction, who are still technically on “hiatus.” Ugh.

It was RM, Jungkook, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and V‘s first break since they debuted as a boy band in 2013 – six years ago.

Management described the band’s period of rest as an “opportunity for the members who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goals since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators.”

It was also a fab chance for the angels to live life in their 20s as normally as possible… even if it was for a brief month and a bit.

A source from management confirmed the welcome news to Scoompi, revealing: “BTS has ended their period of rest and will be flying out today for a scheduled activity.”

The Korea Herald’s K-Pop team also spread the good news. And then there’s the tonne of pictures and grainy videos from the airport.

As you would expect #BTSisBack has absolutely obliterated Twitter, with hundreds of Tweets hitting the internet as I type “internet.” Really, I’m watching it unfold right now. I’m losing track of what Tweets I want to imbed into this yarn.

Maybe some very calm airport Tweets.

Welcome back, angels.
