More dead celeb body part ownership weirdness news today. TMZ reports that the divorce settlement between Black Keys singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach and his ex-wife Stephanie Gonis will see the now lonely girl receive $5 million, a car, a house, and Bob Dylan‘s hair. Yep. Bob Dylan’s hair.
As TMZ reports, “It’s unclear how the hair was obtained”, but however they got their hands on it, it’s now going to live perm-anently with Gonis in Tennessee.
The divorce has been extremely nasty, with Gonis claiming that years of physical abuse at the hands of Auerbach led to her to attempt suicide by slashing her legs and ankles in front of their young daughter. She almost burnt the house down on the same day, but she reckons that was accident. Luckily the hair wasn’t damaged in the fire, and presumably, neither was the gold on the ceiling.
