Epilepsy-inducing lights or tour fatigue may be to blame after Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan blacked out during a performance in Tampa, Florida last week. Fans were left shocked as Corgan suddenly blacked out then fell to the ground during a rendition of “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” with the singer taking to Twitter soon after to explain the accident:
“I have no memory of falling against the drum riser and my guitar cabinet, but I can tell you I’ve got quite a good bruise + am moving slow” he said before adding: “And for those that saw me fall last night during Bullet, that wasn’t a stage move or clumsiness, that was me blacking out and wiping out.“
