Deb “Spoons” Perry is a sexagenarian badass from Bridgetown, WA, professional spoon musician, former Australia’s Got Spoons Talent contestant and participant in the 2003 Gold Coast Spoon & Harmonica World Championships. She was taught how to play the spoons in the 70’s by an elderly man “in the Stoned Crow Wine bar in North Fremantle when listening to a jug band”, which is just a ridiculous sentence but considerably less ridiculous than prefacing this future meme performance of The Black Keys’ “Lonely Boy” by feeding dozens of kangaroos.
