ARGH: Danish Muso MØ Cancels Her Performances At Falls Fest & Field Day

Some rough news this morning for the onslaught of punters about to descend on the various Falls Festivals around the country, with Danish singer announcing she will unforch be pulling out of her trip to Aus entirely.

Posting to her Facebook this morning, MØ revealed she has been forced to cancel her appearances at Falls (the Lorne leg of which kicks off today) due to doctor’s orders after a bout of pneumonia over the Christmas period.
Organisers from Field Day have also announced the cancellation includes her appearance at Sydney-based New Year’s Day fest, and her two sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne will also not go ahead, with full refunds offered to ticket holders.
Whilst Falls has announced MØ’s replacement for the Lorne, Byron Bay, Marion Bay and Fremantle legs of the fest as Sydney producer Golden Features, Field Day “expect to announce a new act soon.”

This is the second international artist to cancel on a Falls appearance, with Childish Gambino recently pulling out of the Freo leg, so he can attend the Golden Globes.
