All-Star Grunge Reunion For Mike Watt’s Seattle Show

Grunge legends Dave Grohl, Eddie Vedder and Pat Smear leaped on stage for a surprise encore performance with veteran bass player Mike Watt last night.

Watt, best known as the co-founder of seminal punk band Minutemen, clearly relished the opportunity the have Grohl on drums flailing like he did back in the Nirvana years, with the song ‘Big Train’ stretching out for a whole ten minutes. With stars of Foo Fighters, Germs, Nirvana and Pearl Jam in one room, it sure was a good time to be in Seattle again. Strap in.
