Based on Adele‘s ‘Hello’ video, you might be forgiven for thinking she’s still stuck in the flip phone era, but it turns out the singer is just as prone to getting on the piss and sending out drunk status updates as the rest of us.
In fact, during a recent Q&A for her upcoming BBC special, she revealed that her management actually took away her access to Twitter, meaning she can no longer share her unfiltered thoughts with the world.
In the Q&A session – which was called ‘Rumour Has It’, because of course it was – she told an audience member:
“I’m not a drinker anymore, but when Twitter first came out, I was like, ‘You’re drunk tweeting,’ and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times. So my management decided, ‘You have to go through, like, two people, and it has to be signed off by someone.’”
