As further proof that being an incredibly rich and famous pop star is a good career if you can get it, Taylor Swift bought a $23.5 million New York townhouse directly adjacent to the $26 million penthouse apartment she already owned.
According to city property records, she picked the place up in late September. It is, as you might expect, reasonably luxe. A property description on Tulia says it features “[a] movie theater, heated floors, a gym, a rainfall steam shower and a limestone, jet bathtub”. Rainfall steam shower, you say? Yeah, righto. All this stuff is spread across three floors, by the way.

It’s not just New York that Swift has property holdings in. She also owns an estate in Beverly Hills, a mansion by the sea in Rhode Island and a stack of homes in Nashville, Tennessee. Taylor, mate. Givvus one of them. Just one.
