Tweens Are Allowed To Do Tough Mudder This Year But As If They Would

Tough Mudder is touted as the world’s hardest obstacle course.

wen u just can’t hold on to a gf (too soon?)

It is a seriously challenging challenge.

Your average TM course is 18km long and involves crawling through stinky mud, plunging into freezing ice baths, copping electroshocks and navigating monkey bars slicked with (sadly inedible) butter. Some have died trying to complete it.

Despite how gruelling it is, this year the course will be open to tweens.

Yes, when the course roars into Australia this October, it won’t just be overachieving adult vegans busting their guts in the endurance event.

Not just adults. Not just teens. But actual tweens.

wonder if jacob will be there

Kids as young as 14 years old are now allowed to complete the course, so long as they’re with a chaperone, like an older sibling or a parent or guardian.

It begs the question though… what the fuck kind of 14-year-old would want to do this?!

All I wanted to do with my spare time when I was fourteen was sit on my arse, play Sims and demolish family-sized bags of Red Rock Deli Honey Soy Chicken Chips.

I digress.

Tough Mudder will be on 28 & 29 October in Melbourne and 18 & 19 November in Sydney.
