Tough Mudder Now Has A Singles-Only Run So You Can Eat Dirt ‘N Flirt

ICYM ‘The Bachelor‘ last night, it was a truly spectacular display of passive aggressive team-bonding.

The remaining seven girls (and Richie) took part in a specially-made Tough Mudder course, and both Alex and Rachel looked like they were two seconds away from pretending to give the other one a hand up and ‘accidentally’ clawing their eyes out.

“Oops!”

But there’s a lot to be said for physical activity as a bonding exercise, so it makes perfect sense that Tough Mudder have capitalised on their high profile product placement from last night to introduce Tough Love, which is basically a start wave in the fitness challenge made up entirely of single people.

For those who don’t know, the Tough Mudder obstacles require actual teamwork to complete, so there’s plenty of opportunity for getting up close and personal with fit strangers. Probably not Richie though.

And if the full 18–20km military-style course is a bit too much to deal with, there’s the light version, i.e. a half-length course that avoids the fire, ice, and electricity obstacles. Which depending on your level of fitness *might* work out better if you want enough breath left to flirt.

Tough Mudder runs on October 22 in Sydney and November 19th in Melbourne, get tix here.
