The Queen’s Flustered About A Sex Scene In The Meghan & Harry TV Movie

Today’s Harry & Meghan wedding drama comes to you courtesy of the queen herself, The Queen, who reportedly has her right royal knickers in a twist over a steamy scene in the upcoming Lifetime movie about her grandson’s courtship of the TV actress.

Per reports in Vanity Fair, the monarch’s press office viewed the trailer for the upcoming Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, and are very concerned by a scene that shows the future royal couple in bed, about to share a kiss.

Speaking to the publication, director Menhaj Huda said that he’s heard from an inside source that the queen’s people are “seriously worried about the sex scene.” His unimpeachable source? “My wife’s best friend has been dating the press secretary of the palace.” Fair enough.

Producer Meredith Finn was fairly blase about the whole deal. “Let them worry,” she said, when asked how the Queen and her cohort might react. “People have sex.”

While the trailer definitely gives a hint of some regal rumpy pumpy to come, this is still a Lifetime movie we’re talking about, so I’d say the camera will discretely cut away before we get into any serious R18+ territory.

That said, the royals have an image to uphold, and that image apparently does not include scenes of Prince Harry doing sex with his American fiance. You can check out the trailer in question here and see for yourself.
