I usually reserve Monday nights for hangover shrapnel and existential crises but, following the announcement that Love Island‘s second season will be premiering Monday October 7, I guess I’ll need to make some room. That’s just about a fortnight away, meaning that juicy flanter is fast incoming. My gossip-parched soul is impatient.

Love Island took to IG to share the news. “THIS IS NOT A DRILL,” their caption reads. “Your Monday October 7 just got better! Please try to remain calm while #LoveIslandAU makes its way to your screen.”

Me trying to remain calm:

Rumours are already beginning to fly in regards to potential season 2 cast-members, like Married At First Sight (MAFS) bride Jessika Power. Time will tell, but please, for the love of God, can all of the islanders please be single and not have secret outside relationships? I’m looking at you, Grant.
