Kevin Jonas Is Down To Star In An R-Rated ‘Camp Rock 3’ So Let’s Do This

The perennial Disney Channel classic Camp Rock celebrated its tenth anniversary this week, and in honour of this most auspicious occasion, Kevin Jonas teased a possible reunion movie, with a more grown-up twist this time.

When asked about the film’s ten-year milestone by E! News, the Jonas brother said that it’s “crazy” and “amazing”, adding “I can’t believe 10 years has actually passed. It makes me feel like I’m getting old.” SAME, BRO, SAME.

He then went on to say that he and his brothers have actually discussed getting the old band back together, saying that they’re taking a “never say never” attitude and would definitely consider a sequel, but that “it just has to be the right thing.”

What exactly would that involve? “We talked about it for a minute,” he said, saying that the the plan would be to do “something ridiculous like an R-rated version now in our life, like a going back to camp kind of thing.”

This isn’t the first time Kevin has teased a possible R-rated Camp Rock sequel – last year, he told Marie Claire: “If it made sense, sure. For all of us – Demi, Nick, it would be funny to do a spin on it. Do the graduating days, make it kinda dark. An adult film.”

The original film starred Demi Lovato as an aspiring singer and Joe Jonas as a brooding pop idol, and was all about the drama, scandal and intrigue at a music camp for gifted teens. Its 2010 sequel was all about their war with a rival camp across the lake.

The Jonas Brothers played the iconic band Connect 3 in the films, and honestly, we’re dying to know what they’re up to now, so let’s make this damn thing happen.
