It’s official – Zooey Deschanel is pregnant with the world’s most perfectly quirky baby.
At some point in the next nine months, the infant will skip merrily from her womb, blink its big eyes, and greet the world by strumming the tiny ukulele that it’s somehow already holding.
The New Girl actress shared this joyous news with People, saying that she and her boyfriend, producer Jacob Pechenik, are “over the moon” about her pregnancy, and are “so excited to meet our little one.”
The child, we presume, was conceived in the usual way.
Zooey’s sister, Bones star Emily Deschanel, is currently expecting her second child with actor David ‘Rickety Cricket’ Hornsby.
