For too long, pizza lovers have been plagued by the need to click a series of buttons on a mobile device – or worse, actually endure a conversation with another human being – in order to be presented with delicious fats, oils and carbohydrates.
There has to be a better way.
Thankfully, the good people at Microsoft have stepped up to the (dinner) plate. A new app, rumoured to be coming to the XBox One console in November, will do away with the need for you to pick up a phone or even move while ordering pizza.
The app, a partnership with Dominos, will simply require users to say the words “Dominos, feed me!”, before making verbal selections regarding toppings, base and the like.
There are a lot of questions still to be answered about the app, such as “Dominos, will this service be available in Australia?” and “Dominos, what have I become?”
You’ll still have to get up off the couch, walk to your front door and take possession of the pizza like a chump, but at least this will never happen to you again:
