Here’s one for the ‘nobody asked for this, but you’re giving it to us anyway’ pile – It’s ‘Dead 7′ a western about 90’s boy band stars hunting down zombies. Yeaaah. It’s by The Asylum, the maniacs who brought you ‘Sharknado’ so you know it’s going to be objectively garbage but still worth watching.
Starring Nick Carter, A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough from the Backstreet Boys, Joey Fatone from *NSYNC, Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees and a whole stack of dudes from O-Town, who nobody but diehards will remember.
It’s produced by Nick Carter, which shows just how well the careers of these dudes are going. The trailer looks dumb as hell, but it could be a whole shitload of fun. If you wanted to perfectly crystallise the memories of the heady 90’s as a time of frosted tips, chiselled bods and big tunes… get ready to have that thoroughly ruined, I guess.
It hits SyFy in April. Oh, you thought this would be in cinemas? You silly, silly person.
