Vince Vaughn And Owen Wilson Intern For Google

Amusing duo Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson have reunited once again for a film based on the friendship of two middle-aged no-hopers. No, we’re not talking about a Wedding Crashers sequel (although we could forgive you for assuming so) – they’ll be starring in the upcoming comedy The Internship.

Directed by Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum, Cheaper by the Dozen, Just Married), the movie’s backdrop centres on the greatest industrial challenge of our generation, the digital revolution, and the subsequent instability of our job markets. Sound funny yet?

Vaughn and Wilson play two traditional sales men whose jobs are outsourced to the Internet, causing them to reassess their future and start over at the bottom. They find an internship at Google, and quickly realize they’re a couple of outdated tech n00bs fighting for jobs against a plethora of nerdy genius 20-somethings. Cue jokes about old people not knowing how to use Skype.

The trailer was released today and features some jiving to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis‘s ‘Thrift Shop’ so indulge below. The Internship will hit cinemas in June 2013.
