Skyfall is the 23rd movie about smooth talking martini sipping M16 agent James ‘007’ Bond starring Daniel Craig in the lead role for the third time. Directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Revolutionary Road) and co-starring Javier Bardem as the villain Raoul Silva it should be pretty spectacular. As for the storyline? Mate, it’s a Bond movie. In the trailer below Craig/Bond says “Some men are coming to kill us. We’re going to kill them first.” Spoiler alert: that will happen. But let’s face it, watching Bond movies aren’t about nuanced performances, intelligent dialogue and intricate plotting, they’re about explosions, lol one liners, Daniel Craig without a shirt on and car chases. And Skyfall appears to have those vital features in spades.
