Marvel stars Tom Holland and Zendaya were just spotted K-I-S-S-I-N-G afters years of dating rumours. And folks, with Spider-Man: No Way Home out later this year, I don’t buy it. It’s weirdly timed. Suspicious. My Spidey-senses are tinging and I sense a Spidey-stunt.
In photos that I’m sure were taken by Peter Parker’s boss J. Jonah Jameson from the Daily Bugle (per PageSix), Tom Holland and Zendaya are seen entering his Audi sports car, before having a cheeky pash. You can see the pics here.
In said photos, Tom and Z approach Tom’s car and Z gracefully steps inside. They chat and then Tom gently caresses his hand on Zendaya’s chin, closes his eyes, and leans in for a kiss. Seconds later, another photo shows him wide-eyed and with the very same cheeky overly-excited grin I get from a new Marvel trailer.
“Holy fucking shit, I just kissed Meechee,” Tom’s thinking, probably. Don’t fact-check that.
Naturally, Twitter, specifically Bisexual Twitter, has gone into an absolute frenzy over the news.
“Bisexual panic is not knowing if you’re jealous of Zendaya or Tom Holland or both,” tweeted one fan.
Another added: “That moment when you wanted to be Zendaya to kiss Tom Holland and at the same time Tom Holland to kiss Zendaya, I love them together.”

Look, I want to believe this. I genuinely really do. If this is true, Tom Holland and Zendaya would be the ultimate power couple of our times. But, given the fact that they’ve been pals and on-screen together for years, it’s odd that they’ve only now started allegedly seeing each other. The only logical theory is that they were swapped with a multiverse variant, Loki-style.
Interestingly, every other Spider-Man actor and their respective love interest in the film ended up dating during filming—Tobey McGuire and Kirsten Dunst, and Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.
Rumours that the two were dating have been circulating the internet for years.
Back in 2017, an insider claimed to People: “They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.”
In response to the reported source, Zendaya joked on Twitter: “Wait wait…my favorite is when it says we go on vacations together HA! I haven’t been on a vacation in years! hbu @TomHolland1996 ???”
“@Zendaya, does the press tour count?” Replied Tom.
Five months later, Page Six reportedly spotted the pair in a restaurant in New York City with Zendaya’s parents.
Tom Holland was previously romantically linked with Olivia Bolton in July 2019 but the pair split in April 2020 and decided to be “just friends,” according to a source via The Sun. Zendaya is also reportedly single—and perhaps ready to Christian Mingle—after a short-term fling with her Euphoria co-star and Aussie expat Jacob Elordi.
For now, I say, bring me photos of Spider-Man and Mary Jane, dammit.
