Tina Fey Drops Zingers With Post-Politics Palin Impression

Tina Fey’s appearance on Inside The Actors Studio yielded many poignant pearls of wisdom. For her aspiring fellow female writer/performers, Fey stressed the importance of wearing a bra AT ALL TIMES, pointed to the reputation shattering effect of diet foods, and reminded women that they should never understate the power of of good cry as a means of terrifying male co-workers. Yet the real highlight came when host James Lipton requested some time with Fey’s most famous character, Sarah Palin.

Effortlessly slipping into character, Fey flexed her impressive improv muscles addressing:
Guns: “I believe that if everybody had guns, then there would be fewer guns in the stores.”
Same-sex marriage: “Well, the bible says it’s gross.”
Being a woman in a man’s world: “I don’t think of it as a man’s world
or a woman’s world, unless again we’re talking about marriage. But I
think of it as people being mavericks or not being mavericks.”
