You Didn’t Ask For It, But Here’s Sarah Palin As Tina Fey In “31 Rock”

Welp. Turnabout is fair play, we suppose.

Whilst Tina Fey might have partially made her name through the expert parody of one-time US Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live, comedic performance was never really a string on Palin’s bow we saw with any great regularity.
Frankly, it’s easy to see why.
For reasons that could only ever be described as “because,” Palin has now tried to turn the magnifying glass back around onto Fey, launching a trailer for the parody series 31 Rock, wherein Palin plays a pastiche of Fey’s iconic Liz Lemon, in the form of “Lynn Melon.”
And also the real Dot Com is in there.
And so is John McCain.
It’s… it’s pretty much exactly what you’d think it would be.

Again – we cannot stress this enough – this is a real thing that does exist.
The Independent Journal Review, for what it’s worth, is a “viral news” website founded by two former Republican party staff and claims to be “a cross between BuzzFeed and RedSlate.”
So there’s that.
