Tiffany Haddish Apologises For Bombing NYE Stand-Up Set That Saw Mass Fan Walk-Out

Comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish won loads of people over with her brash brand of comedy but as with all comics, sometimes stand-up sets don’t quite hit the mark with the audience as was the case with her New Year’s Eve show.

Deadline reports that the stand-up set was so bad, in fact, that audience members “started walking out during her show where a lot of her jokes weren’t landing”, adding that at some points Haddish lost her train of thought and forgot her jokes.

Pissed off fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment over Haddish’s failed set, with some sharing clips from moments where the comic was left scrambling after she couldn’t remember her lines despite allegedly reading from an iPad.

Shortly after the abysmal set, Haddish took to Twitter to apologise to fans, admitting that she messed up and vowing to be more prepared next time.

“Yes this happened. I wish it was better Miami. I prayed on it and I have a strong feeling this will never [happen] again,” she tweeted, accompanied by a link to an article with the headline, ‘Tiffany Haddish Bombs, Drinks With Fans Instead.’
