Tiffany Haddish, the irrepressible star of Girl’s Night and essentially every room she’s ever walked into, has revealed an insanely intriguing anecdote in her first GQ profile: she swears that someone, somewhere, once bit Beyoncé Knowles on the face.
The comedian spilled that seemingly-unbelievable claim to writer Caity Weaver, saying she was at a party with Queen B and Jay Z when the alleged incident occurred.
Describing the alleged assailant as “an actress” who was “doing the mostest”, Haddish said Beyoncé made a b-line for her husband immediately afterwards.
“I was like, ‘What just happened?’” Haddish said. “And Beyoncé’s friend walked up and was like, ‘Can you believe this bitch just bit Beyoncé?’”
Haddish said she had a couple of run-ins with the alleged biter throughout the night before catching up with Beyoncé and… well.
Beyoncé’s at the bar, so I said to Beyoncé, ‘Did she really bite you?’ She was like, ‘Yeah.’ I was like, ‘She gonna get her ass beat tonight.’ She was like, ‘Tiffany, no. Don’t do that. That bitch is on drugs. She not even drunk. The bitch is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.’
While Haddish did not name names – and Beyoncé’s rep claimed to have no knowledge of the incident – the story alone has sent the internet on a massive hunt for the person just wild enough to swing their teeth at one of the planet’s most notable figures.
We can only speculate as to the contents of celebrity group chats right about now, but some top-tier speculation has still bubbled forth. Chrissy Teigen, for example, claims to have had a suspect in mind – only for that person to be quietly cleared of the allegation.

The profile piece also mentions Haddish and Beyoncé took a selfie on the night of the alleged incident.
From that information, some internet detectives have narrowed down a list of hypothetical suspects.

That little morsel of potential information has already seen the Beyhive flock to Nappily Ever After actress Sanaa Lathan’s Instagram with accusatory bee emojis.
Haddish has also rubbished claims the assailant is Taraji P. Henson.
