Let me tell you something about Mean Girls. It was the best movie in middle school. I know, right? It’s not even embarrassing. I can’t even… Whatever. So then in recent years, we started watching other movies which were totally hilarious but they never quite lived up to the cult status of Mean Girls and people were like, weirdly jealous of it.
Like, if I would blow Bridesmaids off to watch Mean Girls, everyone’d be like, “Why do you have to watch this again?” And I’d be like, “Why are you so obsessed with me?”
So then, for the movie’s tenth anniversary, which was earlier this year, Entertainment Weekly was like, “Let’s reunite the lead cast of Mean Girls alongside that of Ghostbusters.” I mean they couldn’t not have either in a special edition reunion issue. There were gonna be girls there in *questionable cocktail wear*. I mean, right? It was an occasion.
So then EW’s people called Lindsay’s people and started begging her, it was so retarded. And then she dropped by the set and everyone talked to her, and then she came backstage, all of her hair was blown out and she was totally happy, and now I guess she’s on track.
