These Are The Actors Who Have Been Cast In ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’

John Boyega (Attack The Block), Daisy Ridley (Blue Season), Adam Driver (Girls), Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis), Andy Serkis (Gollum), Domhnall Gleeson (About Time), and Max von Sydow (The Exorcist) have been confirmed as joining original cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, C3-PO, R2-D2, and Chewbacca in JJ Abrams’s Star Wars: Episode VII.

In a statement released this morning by LucasFilm and Disney, Abrams added, “We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud.
Per Variety, the latest instalment in the official Star Wars canon will take place thirty years after Return Of The Jedi, and sources have confirmed that Driver will play a Vader-like villain, Isaac will assume the mantle of the Han Solo character and Boyega a Jedi, with Ridley possibly playing the daughter of Solo and Leia.
Check out Harrison Ford’s pit stains. I know.
