‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Adds American Actress And British Parkour Dude To Cast


After having recently wrapped filming in Abu Dhabi the current cast of Star Wars: Episode VII are in London smashing through some principal photography at Pinewood Studios. Elsewhere, Lucasfilm has announced that, after a massive global open call, which saw over 37,000 young actors attend and 30,000 submit videos online, the two latest parts have been cast.

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said of the hires: “The Star Wars universe has always been about discovering and nurturing young talent and in casting Episode VII we wanted to remain absolutely faithful to this tradition. We are delighted that so many travelled to see us at the open casting calls and that we have been able to make Crystal and Pip a part of the film.”

Crystal Clarke is an American actress, who is set to graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2014, and is currently working on her first feature film ‘The Moon and the Sun’ with Kaya Scodelario, Pierce Brosnan and William Hurt.
