The Veronicas Put Sibling Squabbles On Display In 1st Look At MTV Show ‘Blood Is For Life’

Brisbane babes The Veronicas are shrugging off that whole Qantas controversy and moving on with business as usual by unveiling their forthcoming MTV reality series.

It has now been revealed that the curiously timed show will be named, The Veronicas: Blood Is For Life.

The series, which is set to premiere on MTV in November, will give fans a sneak peek into the sister duo’s lives from inside the studio to backstage at their performances to a dressing room squabble or two.

The first look video teases your typical reality spice as the sisters trade barbs over an unknown issue (fall-out from the Qantas drama, perhaps?).

The series also features Jess’ boyfriend, LA-based muso / bartender Kai Carlton.

Speaking of the highly anticipated series, Jess and Lisa Origliasso previously said, “We grew up with MTV and to be able to create a show together, bringing people closer inside our lives of music and as sisters, is going to be a wild ride.”

Bruce Gillmer, global head of music and talent, Viacom, and co-brand head, MTV International, also previously gushed about the girls and explained their decision to spin their lives into a reality series.

“We continue to invest in great content, and are committed to connecting audiences with the music and artists they love,” Gillmer said.

“The Veronicas were part of our first-ever MTV PUSH launch in 2009, and we are so excited to work with them again and give fans a new, behind-the-scenes look into their lives and music in a way only MTV can do.”

It’s yet to be confirmed if the Qantas debacle will be captured in the series but for the sake of tea sippers everywhere, I sure as shit hope so.
