Dwayne Johnson, the man better known to everyone as The Rock, gets down to business in this distilled example of everything Hollywood does so goddamned well – blowing. shit. up.
San Andreas centres on Johnson, playing the role of a Los Angeles Fire Department rescue-helicopter pilot, who must escape LA following a devastating earthquake and, with the help of his estranged wife (played by Carla Gugino), get to San Francisco to help save his trapped daughter (Alexandra Daddario).
The film also stars Paul Giamatti, Colton Haynes, and our very own Kylie Minogue.
Real talk, who cares if it appears to be just some B-Roll footage from 2012 slapped together with a thawed out plot from The Day After Tomorrow? It looks freaking awesome.
San Andreas is scheduled for release on May 29, 2015.
