Love Island twins Josh and Luke Packham are joining this year’s season of The Block, and wow, all of a sudden I need a landscaper or two to fix my flooded basement.
In the new season of the hit renovation reality TV series, the show pits fans against faves. From renovation rookies and professionals to country singers and, yes, your fave Aussie reality TV himbos.
And look, all I’m gonna say about the trailer announcing the boys is that from 0:27 to 0:31, this show has my absolute undivided attention. I am looking both *respectfully* and *directly* at it. It, ofc, being their shirtless bodies but I digress.
“Yeah, we’ve got no reno[vation] experience but we’ve been around houses our whole life,” one of the boys says in the clip.
On that note, I’m officially coming out as a professional chef because I too have been around food my whole life.
Also, while we’re on the subject of the renos in this szn of The Block, we’re getting the genuine faves and old gay couple Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie back and I am so excited to see more camp renovation on my telly.
Former contestants from season 13 in 2017, Ronnie and Georgia Caceres are also, in the words of Alyssa Edwards, back, back, back, back again. Also, country guys and gals make do with this season’s Kirsty and Jesse.

Josh and Luke first appeared in the second season of Love Island Australia. Luke was sent home on day 30 while Josh made it to the end and won with Anna McEvoy.
There’s currently no official release date for the new season of The Block: Fans v Faves, but the end of the trailer adds that it is “coming soon” to Channel Nine. In the meantime, I’ll be thinking of another pair of limbo twins, the DaVinky Brothers.
